Ricky Grigg was my sixth-grade teacher.

Worked with Fred Hemmings in the Punahou cafeteria.

Fred Van Dyke was my seventh-grade science teacher.

Peter Cole was my Junior Varsity swimming coach.

Oh, and hows about swimming relays with Jimmy Blears?

One last thing…

While the ‘Father of Modern Day Surfing’ ate breakfast at Tahitian Lanai, I was six years old swimming in the pool;  Legendary Olympian Duke Kahanamoku said, "He should become a swimmer."
